Overview
Information | Quad-Core AnyWAN™ Broadband SoC w/PON MAC, 4x 2.5GE PHYs |
---|
AnyWAN™ Home Gateway SoC for the 10G broadband service age and Wi-Fi 7 transformation. The URX851 integrates a 10G PON MAC, four integrated 2.5G Ethernet PHYs and 8 additional configurable 10G IOs for Ethernet, PCIe and SATA peripherals. The powerful packet processing engine is dimensioned to provide line rate performance for all packet sizes of 64 Byte and higher. It provides full 100% CPU offload up to 30 million packets per second, and up to 35Gbps including all traffic from Ethernet, WiFi and WAN interfaces. The embedded quad-core 2.0GHz x86 CPU cluster provides scalable compute performance for value added services.
MaxLinear's most advanced, hardware governed power management technology ensures minimal energy use, dynamically tailored to the user’s performance requirements. A dedicated secure enclave, separated from the CPU, provides a supreme level of security for advanced secure boot and a true root of trust transfer. URX851 is software compatible with URX850 and MxL25641. MaxLinear supports developers with Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 reference boards, HDK and software releases for RDK-B, prplOS and MaxLinear’s openWRT-based Universal Gateway SDK.
